Hand Controllers & Joysticks

M-TEK produces hand controllers, to provide the operator input into systems.

Hand controller & joysticks are utilised as man-machine-interfaces mainly on tanks, armoured vehicles and artillery turrets. They also used withj optical and radar tracking systems.

Output signals of the hand controllers & joysticks are generated by potentiometers, strain or inductive sensors, depending whether large or limited rotational movements are required form the Hand Grips. The switches are sealed and selected for functionality and long term reliability.

The hand grips are moulded from highly durable polyurethane.

Electronic circuitry can either provide analogue or digital outputs and are protected in a sealed aluminium enclosure which also includes spring return mechanisms and electrical connectors.
